Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born on June 13, 1962, in the United States is an actor. In 1983, after her first movie Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack participant in WarGames 1982 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a member of the group. Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy, an American author and actress. She began her career in film at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of applause. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Her debut success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Although the budget for this movie was $1 million it has earned more than $50 million. As she worked on the show the first time on TV, her television debut came in the form of CBS Schoolbreak. This show aimed at teenagers and started in April 1980. The actress also appeared in other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy received numerous prizes in 2005 for her performance. She was also awarded with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
